The box office success of Happy Feet makes it official:  penguins are the new (teddy) bears.  If you know where to look, you can even find a live penguin cam on the web. 

But are penguins really appropriate for a Christmas tree?  After all, some people claim that Happy Feet is actually liberal atheist propaganda!
